The Renaissance Of Night Time Photography

Stars Over Cuchara

Back in the old film days, I did alot of night time photography, always experimenting with very low light and very long exposures.  Upon entering the digital age, I was more than a little disappointed to learn that both of these environmental variables caused a wild and noisy pixel party that I wanted nothing to do with.  Recently, I’m learning that there are ways to overcome the paradigm shift and I feel like a kid in a camera store.  Stay tuned for more experimentation to come 🙂

Two questions:

1.  When was the last time you went outside on a clear night, allowing your eyes to adjust to the low light and take it all in?

2.  Do you believe that there is more to this world than this world?
