Moonlight Winter Adventure Series
I have always been fascinated by the way that a full moon lights up the snow covered mountain landscapes of the Colorado Rockies. In the winter of 2010, I was determined to create a series of oil paintings that would capture the essence of adventure and possibilities that the reflected lunar light brings to the night. When I paint these scenes, my recollections of my experiences seem to merge magically with my imagination. I feel my way through the entire process without the use of any reference material and I really never know what the finished product will bring, so the process becomes an adventure in itself. It is my intention and hope that these works will invoke a warm feeling within the viewer, that reminds them of their own memories and dreams of adventure.
Summer Water Series
Each Spring in Colorado, the snow melts and runs off of the high peaks in spectacular fashion. The Summer of 2011 is dedicated to studying and painting our streams and lakes as they fill to their outer banks, allowing the flora and fauna of this region to thrive and creating a recreational playground for those who are lucky enough to be here.

Scott, your ability to be at the right place at the right time and capture the brilliance and beauty of cloud formations is truly extraordinary. Your work with the camera and the resulting photographs of the subject matter you choose is a profound statement of your exceptional talent. I consider it a priviledge and honor to know you and call you friend. Bill Boeck
